Naji has strong experience in building envelope, roofing and underground parking garages. Mr. Hassan holds a certificate in Building Science from the University of Toronto. Naji is also trained in Total Quality Management, Operations Management, Human Resources and Project Management methods. Throughout the years of practical experience in the building science industry, Naji can assertively report on the various disciplines of building components and his record is supported by the years of engineering services he provided to the various municipalities through Accent Building Sciences.

Bob Marashi, P. Eng., BSSO, Principal
Bob Marashi, P. Eng., BSSO, PrincipalBob Marashi
Mr. Marashi holds a Bachelor Degree of Civil Engineering from Ryerson University. Mr. Bob Marashi is a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario. For the past 20 years, Mr. Marashi has successfully delivered hundreds of due diligence and building condition assessments to the City of Toronto, City of Peterborough, Toronto Community Housing and various municipalities. Time and again, Mr. Marashi delivered these assessments either within the given timetable or ahead of schedule. Mr. Marashi has an extensive experience in roofing and waterproofing systems and holds certificates for “Thermographic Applications for Predictive Maintenance, Level I” and for “Building Applications for Infrared Thermography” from Snell Infrared. Mr. Marashi is the Chief Engineer and he leads the various teams and personally overlook our projects.

Zack Salman has over 20 years’ experience with building assessment and rehabilitation projects. Zack involvement on projects varies from architectural, structural, building envelope, mechanical and electrical, all of which he has formal training and accreditations in.

Zack has led and been part of project teams for a wide range of sectors including institutional, commercial, multi-residential, retail, and commercial. Zack is responsible for the delivery of building restoration projects and condition assessments from preliminary site assessment to final report and costing.

Mr. Stephen (Steve) Spano has extensive experience in business development, project management and field related quality control services related to the ‘building envelope’ for a diverse construction portfolio which includes; institutional, commercial, industrial and residential facilities / projects.

Steve is successful in developing, executing, maintaining and servicing the needs of “in-house” clients and/or stipulated contractual agreements. Steve is successful in working within and leading teams to improve the firms’ overall results and image.

Michelle Martinez is a graduate of the Architectural Science program at Ryerson University. She has a B. Arch degree and a specialization in Building Science.

In her Architectural Science undergrad, Michelle collaborated with a team of 10 and took part in a research project called ArcHelio, which focused on the analysis of a building envelope’s thermal efficiency and the collection of solar energy. Because of her passion for building performance research, she was awarded with the Building Science Studio Award.

Leo M. Amore, Senior Project Manager

Over the past many years, Leo Amore has held various positions with the private and public sectors in the building envelope / roofing design, inspection, diagnostic testing, project management and contract administration areas. Earlier in his career, Mr. Amore held various positions with the Province of Ontario, Ministry of Housing – Ontario Housing Corp. (Arch. & Eng. Dept.) as an in-house designer / inspector for roofing and building renovation projects across the Province.

Most recently, Mr. Amore worked on a contract basis vis-à-vis MMM with the TTC, E&C Department as Senior Construction Inspector (SCI) which involved the supervision / inspection of various TTC roofing and building envelope projects. Mr. Amore also worked with CCI Group as a Project Manager responsible for completing Building Condition Surveys of commercial, industrial, retail and residential buildings.

Marina has been part of project teams for a wide range of sectors including institutional, commercial, multi-residential and retail. Marina is involved in roofing investigations and responsible for delivery of proposed design drawings of various roofing systems for repair and replacement at different locations across GTA.

Marina cooperated with various Ontario Municipalities to obtain building Permits, Preliminary Zoning Reviews, Conservation Authority Approvals, Minor Variance Permissions. Managed and coordinated multiple projects from concept through competition in collaboration with clients, contractors and engineers. Prepared Architectural designs and translated creative ideas into elegant, fluid spaces in accordance with clients’ vision.
