ABSI was retained by DEL Management Solutions Inc. to perform a detailed building envelope assessments including exterior wall cladding, balcony slabs and guardrails and provide a strategy, and design for exterior wall restoration at 100 and 110 Unity Road, Toronto, ON.

Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) retained the services of Accent Building Sciences Inc. (ABSI) to perform a Roof Rehabilitation and Replacement at Humber Boulevard, located at 121 Humber Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario.
The Humber Boulevard development consists of a mixed group of buildings. The development has a high-rise building, complete with underground parking, and a group of town house blocks.
Our scope of services included destructive and non-destructive inspections and testing on the existing roofing assemblies, including cut tests to determine the composition of the existing roof assemblies and their conditions. A final report was provided that detailed our findings, provided recommendations for repairs and on- going maintenance, and provisional budgets for all recommendations and future planning.
ABSI provided full design, contract documents and contract administration for an entire roof replacement including the metal capping/finishes along with a new walkway, railings and ladders.
ABSI was retained by Wellington Health Care Alliance to perform Roofing Consulting Services for 630 Dublin Street, Mount Forest, ON.
Wellington Health Care Alliance (WHCA) is an administrative alliance of two corporations, consisting of three hospital sites; Groves Memorial Community Hospital (Fergus, ON) and North Wellington Health Care; Louise Marshall Hospital (Mount Forest) and Palmerston and District Hospital (Palmerston, ON).
ABSI provided full working drawings and specifications for the complete removal and disposal of all roofing components, and the installation of new roofing system. Modifications to all mechanical rooftop unit curbs/structural frames were required for the proper installation of new flashing membrane, metal flashing and trims.

(ABSI) to perform a Roof Rehabilitation along with Balcony Repairs and Railing Refurbishment at Queens Plate (2-16-Storey Residential Buildings), located at 900-910 Queens Plate Drive, Etobicoke, Ontario.
ABSI provided Condition Assessment for the Balcony Repairs and Railing Refurbishment, and provided a comprehensive report, estimates and life-cycle analysis for a renewal and repair program. ABSI review deficiencies of Balconies (balcony slabs, dividers, guard railings, bird netting), Shear Walls (Balcony shear/ end walls, bricks, joints/sealants), Roof Parapet (Sheet Metal Flashing), Roof Anchors and Entrance Canopy Roofs.
St Paul’s L’Amoreaux Centre (SPLC) at 2800 Warden Ave, is a seniors living centre in Scarborough, ON with rental and life-lease units. Originally constructed in 1998, the 91-unit facility includes 2-level underground parking.
ABSI was retained to undertake an investigation of the existing underground parking facility to evaluate the structure including the concrete roof slab, suspended slab, and slab on grade, identifying delaminated and deteriorated concrete areas and evaluate the condition of the existing waterproofing membrane at the top surface of the garage roof slab as well as suspended slab. ABSI undertook the design and management of the required repairs including rehabilitation of portions of the waterproofing membrane and repair of water leaks along the north and south walls, and provided a long term plan for replacement and rehabilitation of areas of concern.
